The centre of the parkette and the place where we will gather for generations to witness weddings, birthdays, and special occasions, or sit in its shade and relax with friends.
Custom built by Limestone Trails this 24ft wide hexagonal pavilion is supported by oak posts and topped by a cedar shake roof and cupola. This is the premier feature of the parkette.

The entire parkette has been designed to reflect the natural landscape that surrounds Dundas. Large caliper indigenous trees such as maple, pine, spruce and hickory will form a majestic canopy over the winding pathways and frame the open meadows. Your contribution will allow us to plant much larger specimens. A donation that will literally grow for generations to come.

These 6 ft cast and powder coated classic benches will be enjoyed, maintenance free, for decades. Built and supplied at their cost by Stresscrete of Burlington.

Carved Ontario Hardwood
Each chair is carved from a single ancient Ontario hardwood stump.
The custom carved, these chairs will be fully sealed and specially coated for durability.
These chairs have been commissioned for parks in New York, Chicago, LA, Vancouver, and Toronto.

For Pavilion Patio
Chairs can be purchased individually or as a set. The sturdy furniture will adorn the patio under the pavilion providing flexible seating for card games, chess, and family gatherings in the park.
Boulders Available: 2
Ontario Stone
At the north and south entrances to the park along Creekside Drive, two large natural boulders will stand as sentries guarding the main pathway through the park.
Each stone will weigh over three tonne.
Natural Playground
With Small Amphitheatre
The natural playground is a feature designed specifically for young children and the grandchildren of the residents that surround the parkette.
The features will be set into a grotto amongst the trees to enhance play value and reduce noise levels in the parkette. A sideways tree, a small amphitheatre and a hill slide will provide hours of fun.
Senior Friendly
Assisting Access To Pavilion
The entire parkette is carefully planned to be seniors friendly.
The main accessible path from Amica to the Pavilion will feature a steel rail designed to enable patrons with physical or sight impairments to easily walk to and from the pavilion.
Beautiful Entry Point
Wood Construction
A small boardwalk over the dry stream bed will break up the pathway at the south entrance to Creekside Drive.
The clean, crisp lines of this feature will add an elegant alternate perspective to the parkette and stand in contrast to the sweeping lines of the main walking path.
Child and Senior Friendly
With Dog Bowl at Bottom
With drinking positions for adults, children, and pets, this fountain will refresh all patrons of the parkette.
It will be placed beside the pavilion at the apex of the park for maximum value to visitors. Like all of the features of the parkette, the fountain will be maintained by City staff and winterized each fall.
